Washington, D.C. – Following the news that Fidelity and Vanguard, two of the country’s largest sponsors of donor-advised funds, decided to prohibit its customers from donating to the Southern Poverty Law Center, AAGC Executive Cole Leiter issued the following statement:
Fidelity and Vanguard’s decision to block customers from donating to the Southern Poverty Law Center is exactly what President Trump wanted when his Administration indicted an organization that criticizes and mobilizes dissent against his government’s actions.
Today it’s SPLC, but what nonprofit that dares to hold the Trump Administration accountable will be cut off from donors tomorrow?
