Washington, D.C. – AAGC Executive Director Cole Leiter statement following President Trump’s latest attack on American voters and our faith in elections:

“Every week the Trump Administration launches another attack. One week they’re calling their political opponents terrorists; another week they’re launching FBI investigations into reporters; and this week they’re using a primetime address to hand themselves power to undermine Americans’ faith that they can trust elections. Whatever they’re saying, the pattern remains the same. They believe the government is a weapon they can use to enrich themselves, target their perceived enemies, and cling onto power.”
