In ICE Shooting, Trump Administration Again Leaps to “Domestic Terrorist” Label Without Evidence
Washington, D.C. – Today, AAGC Executive Director Cole Leiter shared the following statement after Trump Administration officials claimed the unarmed woman shot and killed by ICE agents was a domestic terrorist:
Americans Against Government Censorship condemns the killing of Renee Nicole Good by ICE agents in Minneapolis and the unsubstantiated attempt to label her a “domestic terrorist.” This is a blatant abuse of power that we simply cannot abide—using lethal force first, then weaponizing fear-based language to justify the killing and silence scrutiny. The victim in this horrific shooting was not a terrorist and government press statements do not replace an actual investigation. Accusations without evidence are being weaponized to excuse violence, suppress accountability, and expand unchecked power.
The Trump Administration has repeatedly called perceived political enemies and dissenters domestic terrorists - without legitimate evidence.
