AAGC Statement on Trump Executive Order on Vote by Mail

Washington, DC — Americans Against Government Censorship Executive Director Cole Leiter released the following statement in response to President Donald Trump’s new executive order on vote by mail and  latest efforts to federalize our elections.

“This executive order is not an effort to protect the integrity of our elections, it is part of an increasingly desperate attempt by the President and his allies to create new barriers to voting, increase confusion for voters and retain power. This attempt to federalize elections for the first time in America’s 250 year history and weaponize the government against the states and its people represents an abuse of power that no President, Republican or Democrat, should be able to wield.”
